Everyday Runway // Hidden Stairwell

Sometimes it's nice to have a day just for gathering inspiration. That's what last Friday was for me and my Mr. We went to one of my favorite places to visit... my dad's office! He works in an old print shop with the greatest nooks and crannies. He showed us an old stairway that I had never seen before, and I instantly fell in love. I think it would make the most amazing office space. The lighting was perfect, so I snapped a few outfit shots of me and the boy. *sigh* I love a good dose of inspiration and natural lighting. What about you? xo.Megan

Today Is For...

Sometimes you just need to put a bold dress on & go have some fun! Today calls for checklists, iced coffee, and a really great dress. Hope your Tuesday rocks. xo.Megan

Everyday Runway // a Plaid Shirt & a New House

Friends of ours just bought a house! Seems so crazy, such an "adult" thing to do. I guess that's what happens after college though. So the boy and I went to go help them celebrate such a big accomplishment and I decided to get a little spruced up for the occasion.

{Chambray button up- Kohls // Plaid Top- Thrifted // Skirt- Thrifted // Belt- Thrifted // Boots- Kohls // Tights- Too old to remember... }
After a tour of the new house, talk about how to get rid of ugly wallpaper, & a bathtub picture we finished the night out with some celebratory Cherry Cokes at Steak-n-Shake. It was a good night and I'm so looking forward to all the memories we are going to make with our best pals in their new home. I guess being an adult isn't so bad after all. xo.Megan

Everyday Runway // 1

Oliver the dog wanted to help me out with my first "everyday runway" post. Isn't he a cutie?!
(Please excuse the messy hair. This is about all I can manage until I get a new blowdryer)

{Sweater//Thrifted+Skinny Jeans//Kohls+Boots//Kohls}

I'm all about skinny jeans and boots these days. I guess that's what happens when you live in the midwest in January.
 So sad that the weekend is over already. Oh, well. Back to the daily grind.

Happy Monday!!
xo.Megan

P.S- Show some love to my sweet sponsors too!!! xoxo

Beauty Budget

You might remember this outfit from a couple of days ago.
Well, I thought it might be fun and (maybe!) helpful for me to point out the price of each of the pieces from this particular outfit. Every girl's got a budget, and I refuse to purchase anything at full price. To me it isn't fun to buy it if I didn't get it for a steal!

There you have it! This outfit cost less than $20.
(The shoes, tights, & bracelet were gifts; so I did not include those prices)

Just goes to show that you can still stay up on the latest fashions without emptying your wallet!

Breezy Day

This is my very first "modeled" outfit post!
Adam and I took some pictures after church this morning and, let me tell you, it was breezy. :)

I loved how the carmel colored skirt worked with the navy stripes in my top.

I'm a sucker for a good bargain. This skirt was only $2!

These buttons add some cute character to this skirt.

*Tights- Wal Mart
*Shoes- Khols
*Glasses- Claire's

This shoot was tons of fun to do. Big thanks to my sweet Boy for shooting it!
Hope you enjoyed it.
