Our Nest-- Dining Room // Reading Area

We have a really small house... I mean tiny, so some of our rooms have to pull double duty. Here are a few shots from around our dining room//reading area-

I love to keep plants around the house to add a little color to the space. I especially love placing them in fun, vintage bowls.

 

I really wanted a fun way to display my vintage glasses, so I collected a few quirky soda bottles and made a soda cart! I just need to add some paper straws and I think this space is done. :) Do you have any rooms pulling double duty in your home? xo.Megan

I've been home most of this week &, let me tell you, it's been so nice! I tackled a pretty big house project which I was hoping would be done by now, but a little cold got in the way of those plans. Oh, well. I also got to spend time away this past weekend with some good girlfriends of mine & made some pretty exciting plans for this spring. Yay! And, to top it all off, I have a super exciting, slightly nerve racking announcement to make on Friday! It's been pretty busy in these parts, but all very fun. : ) Hope your Valentine's week has been grand as well. xo.Megan

 

Sick-y at Home

 

 

Just a couple of snapshots from what's been going on around here. Not a whole lot, as you can tell. My boy has been sick & in between doctor's appointments & Gatorade runs I've been watching a lot of Netflix & doing my nails. Kind of a blah, gray, & sicky week in these parts. Hoping for some thrifting this afternoon & maybe I'll get the chance to use up what's left on my Starbucks card. Hmm... sounds like a good afternoon to me. : ) Oh, and I might need to buy a couple of gallons of Lysol while I'm out as well. Definitely don't want this bug again...

I just love my cozy home. It's hard to capture it's quaintness, quirks, & appeal solely in photos but I'm going to try my best.

Rory the cat also likes to make blog appearances sometimes too. Adam & I love to spend time at home & it's my goal to make this space as inspiring and welcoming as possible.
