Our Nest-- Dining Room // Reading Area

We have a really small house... I mean tiny, so some of our rooms have to pull double duty. Here are a few shots from around our dining room//reading area-

I love to keep plants around the house to add a little color to the space. I especially love placing them in fun, vintage bowls.

 

I really wanted a fun way to display my vintage glasses, so I collected a few quirky soda bottles and made a soda cart! I just need to add some paper straws and I think this space is done. :) Do you have any rooms pulling double duty in your home? xo.Megan

 



It's beginning to smell a lot like...

I think it's finally coming!!! Warmer days, gentle breezes, and sunny days are all hinting towards the arrival of spring. *sigh* I am so ready for this season. We have been itching to get in the dirt and start our big spring backyard projects... it's going to be so fun!

To help keep me patient for the right time for our outdoor plants I've been putting all sorts of pretty green things around the inside of our home. I just love how much personality a little plant can add  to a space. I'm especially found of cacti and succulents. SO CUTE! What are some of your favorite indoor plants? xo.Megan 

Project // Living Room

 

I'm trying to put the finishing touches on our living room before spring is in full bloom. These prints are definitely my inspiration springboard. I just love the bold colors paired with the soft shape of the florals and the polka dot print keeps things clean. I'm looking for a couple more throw pillows, curtains (I have a DIY idea....), and a great rug then I think I can call her, "DONE!". Wish me luck and I'll keep you posted. xo.Megan
